Stillpoint Movement Philosophy:

Your body is built to move with ease and rest with intention.

At Stillpoint Movement, we don’t believe in pushing your body to it’s breaking point or chasing passing fitness trends. We believe in cultivating a sustainable, vibrant way of living that honors both your physical strength and your deep need for restorative healing.

By beautifully weaving together the intuitive flow of Yoga, the therapeutic release of Massage and traditional Thai Bodywork, and the supportive structure of Functional Personal Training, we create a complete sanctuary for everyday wellness. Our approach is designed to calm an overactive nervous system, dissolve chronic holding patterns, and help you return to your natural state of balance.

Nourish your body. Cultivate your peace. Find your stillpoint.

My services

Yoga: Mindful Flow & Space Creation

Our yoga sessions are designed to calm an overactive nervous system and bring fluid alignment to your body. Rather than forcing rigid poses, we focus on your unique biomechanics and breath control to gently dissolve chronic holding patterns, create physical space, and return you to a state of inner peace.

Massage: Targeted Relief & Deep Restoration

A therapeutic, hands-on recovery session completely customized to your body's immediate needs. Utilizing a blend of intentional tissue release and soothing strokes, this treatment melts away everyday physical tension, eases muscle soreness, and allows your mind and body to deeply rest.

Thai Bodywork: Passive Movement & Structural Release

Often described as "assisted stretching", traditional Thai bodywork uses rhythmic compression, mindful stretching, and energy-line work to open up restricted joints. While you relax passively on a comfortable mat, we guide your body through gentle movements to unlock tight hips, relieve lower back compression, and restore total-body flexibility.

Personal Training: Functional Fitness for Sustainable Living

A smart, supportive approach to exercise that honors your physical strength without pushing your body to its breaking point. Led by a certified personal trainer, these sessions focus on functional movement, joint stability, and daily core mechanics, teaching you a sustainable way of living to keep your body healthy and resilient.

About Heather

Hi, my name is Heather Morgan.

My journey into wellness began with a simple realization: true physical freedom doesn't come from exhausting our bodies, but from learning how to listen to them. As a certified personal trainer, yoga instructor, and therapeutic bodyworker, I spent years watching people separate their fitness from their recovery. I founded Stillpoint Movement to bring these elements together into one seamless, life-changing practice.

My approach to midlife wellness is deeply personal. Currently navigating perimenopause myself, I intimately understand the profound physical and emotional shifts women experience during this transition—from sudden fatigue to joint stiffness. At the same time, watching my husband navigate his own physical changes and struggles as he ages has given me a deep empathy for the unique challenges men face in maintaining their strength and mobility. I know firsthand that the old ways of punishing workouts no longer serve our bodies as we grow older.

That is why I design our practices to support, not deplete, your body. By combining the restorative paths of yoga, the deep tissue release of massage and traditional Thai bodywork, and the gentle, protective strength of functional training, we can manage symptoms, protect your joints, and reclaim your vital energy. Whether you are navigating midlife transitions or simply looking to reset an overactive nervous system, I am here to help you move with ease, rest with intention, and return to your natural center.

When I'm not in the studio, you can find me spending time with my husband, John, either traveling south to the sunshine state to visit our daughter and Mickey Mouse, or walking nature trails here in New England with our little pup Ellie, or maybe enjoying a quiet morning cup of coffee in my backyard.

I can't wait to move, rest, and practice with you.

The Meaning Behind Our Logo:

At Stillpoint Movement, we believe true power and vitality grow from a place of deep inner stillness. Our logo—a central mushroom embraced by expanding circles—is inspired by the natural wonder of a fairy ring and reflects our core philosophy:

  • The Center: The mushroom represents your "stillpoint"—the grounded, quiet space within where breath, presence, and alignment begin.

  • The Rings: The surrounding circles represent fluid motion, expansion, and the natural cycles of growth.

  • The Connection: Like an underground mycelium network, we focus on the deep, unseen connections between mind, body, and breath.

Find your stillpoint. Let your movement flow.
